Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in the overall success of the DL George & Sons family of companies by validating customer bills of materials and drawings, and by creating manufacturing routings for machining, fabrication and assembly to generate work orders.
Project Coordinator Skills & Attributes:
Excellent math skills.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
Basic understanding of machining, welding and assembly processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of paint and powder coating a plus but not required.
Knowledge of steel shapes and plates.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities and Duties:
Validation of bills of materials using drawings and specifications.
Entering material requirements into a MRP/ERP system.
Entering manufacturing routings for parts and/or assemblies into MRP/ERP system.
Calculating raw material requirements.
Creating manufacturing cutlist.
Project scheduling with the help of the operational team.
Generate and release work orders to the production team.

Experience:
Associates Degree in a related field or Vocational Training and 1-3 years of on the job training.
