- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses - Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features - Provide recommendations on lens options, frames, and lens coatings based on customers' needs and prescriptions - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance - Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses - Maintain accurate records of customer prescriptions and orders - Collaborate with optometrists to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical billing procedures related to vision care services - Strong understanding of retail math for pricing and discounts - Familiarity with aseptic technique for maintaining cleanliness in the dispensing area We are seeking an experienced Optician to join our team.
