30 an hour SUMMARY Through the uses equipment and other sources, assists with manufacturing, packaging, and other steps in the production process.
While the exact duties may vary from department to department, a production operator will lift and maneuver product, packages and equipment of varying weights and dimensions.
An operator will run and maintain all equipment used in the production process, including forklifts, computers and scan guns.
DUTIES Communicates with team members, including those on opposite shifts, regarding any production, product, equipment or procedural changes.
Reviews written communications regarding product and production changes Reviews and updates production and quality reports Ensures that product is being run according to specifications.
Performs routine inspection of product to ensure proper quality and specification are being met.
Inspect equipment to ensure for proper operation.
May result in machine change-overs, repairs and set-ups.
Using equipment and raw materials, prepare for loading equipment for production process.
This will include all raw materials used in the process which may include mixing of liquid materials.
Responsible for requisitioning all materials needed in the production process.
Maintain accurate records of materials used, produced and scrapped.
