Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

The Application Tooling Division of TE Connectivity is currently seeking highly motivated and energetic Associate for full-time assignment.

Core hours for this role are Monday-Friday on 1st shift

1st Shift 6:45am to 3:15pm

Our Production Operators support our tooling business by performing a variety of tasks related to our manufactured components. This position is located at our Waynesboro, PA facility.

Responsibilities

Performs various manufacturing functions which contribute directly to processing, producing, assembling or packing products.

May perform several or all of the following functions:

Able to read assembly prints

Assemble all applicator sub - assemblies

Use air torque wrenches to assemble

use standard work instructions for various job duties

Use various inspection equipment to ensure accuracy of the finished component part (i. e. micrometer, optical comparator)

Be familiar with hand tools , fixtures , and checking gauges

Packing of related products for shipment to our customer

Other assignments and duties as required

Qualifications & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required

Must have basic understanding of trouble shooting techniques

Must have ability to develop basic understanding of and follow blueprints

  • Must be able assemble applicator
  • Must be familiar with hand tools
  • Must assemble and qualify applicator after training

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
